Some of the Year 13 Geography class were lucky enough on Friday to enjoy a visit from Andrew Gorman - the Head of Geology at Otago University.
He talked to us about the geology around Dunedin, giving us useful information for the upcoming Coastal Processes Internal.
He also brought some rocks to show us - Caversham Sandstone (sedimentary), Basalt (igneous) and Schist (metamorphic).
A great afternoon!
