A Rapid Rise for Rasmussen

Amber competed in 5 rhythmic gymnastic competitions this season representing the Greater Green Island Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. The competitions were held in Otago, Wellington, Christchurch (2) and Margaret Wolf Auckland, in which she also represented Trinity Catholic College. 

The competition is very fierce and not only does it require the physical strength, flexibility, coordination and grace, but a large amount of mental determination as inevitably the unexpected happens.

Amber along with Amber's other Grade 4 group members qualified for the Otago team to compete at the Gymnastics New Zealand Competition in October at the Delta competition in Christchurch in July.  Amber topped it off with an individual qualification in level 6 at the Margaret Wolf competition in Auckland.

Amber is super excited to attend her first Nationals competition travelling and staying with a 20 large Otago Rhythmic Gymnastics team.
