Kavanagh College Uniform Policy

FACIAL PIERCING

No facial piercings of any kind are permitted during the school day or while in school uniform. 

A clear nose stud may be permitted but students will need permission from the Principal for this.

HAIR

Natural colours only. Hair is to be tied back neat and tidy (at the Principal's discretion)

FACIAL HAIR

Students much be clean shaven

MAKE UP

Light foundation or tinted moisturiser is acceptable

No other makeup is to be used

No nail polish

If make up is noticed by staff, students will be asked to remove it.

JEWELLERY

One small ear-ring in each ear

One simple ring

A watch, no bracelets

Neck jewellery must not be able to be seen (this includes pounamu or cross)

Any issues that fall outside of these uniform rules will be dealt with by Senior Management
