Hermione Sparks competed at the New Zealand Dance Awards, which took place in Christchurch over five days, with dancers from all over New Zealand, five judges from Australia and three judges from Auckland, 1469 items, workshops and masterclasses.
Hermione spent eight hours in workshops and masterclasses, competed in five solo dances, getting 1st place in all five, and was awarded the 2022 New Zealand Dance Awards Overall Junior Tap Scholarship.
