On Thursday the 15th of September, Kavanagh College performed at the
29th Otago Polyfest. Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, which also marks the 50th anniversary of the petition presented to Parliament to support teaching of Te Reo Māori in schools.
This year, as our last public Kavanagh College event, we decided to join both Kapa Haka and Pasifika Vibes to celebrate this wonderful occasion. It would not have been possible without the help and assistance of Melina Lam Cheung, Theresa Aiiloilo and the Tili Aiga.
A shout also goes to Whaea Maya and Matua Tili for all their hard work and support.
Blessings
