Working Bee
By PFA and BOT | Posted: Wednesday June 26, 2019
The PFA and Board of Trustees are holding a community Working Bee on Sunday 28th July from 1.00pm to 3.00pm at Kavanagh College. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the following activities
- General tidying of grounds – weeding, cobweb removal, cleaning windows, etc.
- Water blasting some outside areas
- Removing stickers from locker doors
- Replenishing woodchips on some gardens
Please bring gardening tools, buckets, cloths, wheelbarrows, spades, etc. along with you if you have them. Students are also very welcome to come and help.
In addition, we need a few people who can bring trailers for collecting the woodchips and transporting garden waste to the landfill, as well as some water blasters. If you could assist with these, then please let Rebecca Meikle know (meiklerm@gmail.com).
Hope to see lots of you outside the Mercy block (Tennyson St) at 1pm on 28 July.
