Deputy Head Girl - Mya Barltrop
I’m Mya! I attended the mighty St Peter Chanel for primary school alongside your Head Boy, Sammy T. I have studied at Kavanagh for seven years, much like many other students here. Although seven years is a long time, a little less than half of my life, it has allowed me to make some treasured connections with others that will continue for life after we finish school, as well as learning a few things in my classes, of course.
One of my passions is dance. Since the age of eight I have absolutely fallen in love with it. Sadly, dance isn’t a subject you can take here at Kavanagh, but I would love to work on starting something up to introduce others to it.
One of the things I hope to achieve is to encourage as many people to get stuck into any hobby or sport. I would also love to help uphold and continue on the traditions here at Kav, to keep the spirit up, no matter what!!
Lastly, I hope to be as approachable to everyone as I can be. Sometimes having a person you can go to for advice, a rant, or a noodle date can be the best, so I wish to be that person for anyone that needs it! Don’t hesitate to come and say hi.
