Bishop’s Shield 2024

Students who are interested in public speaking, debating, or drama should consider getting involved with the Bishop's Shield competition which will be held early in Term 3 during the weekend of 9-11 August 2024.
The Bishop's Shield competition sees students from the Catholic high schools in the Dunedin Diocese (Trinity, St Kevin's, St Peter's, and Verdon) competing against one another in prepared speech, impromptu speech, junior and senior debating, junior and senior drama, and junior and senior scripture.
This year Verdon College is hosting the Bishop's Shield competition so it will be held in Invercargill (9-11 August).
Any students in Year 9 - Year 13 who are interested in being part of the Bishop's Shield team should complete this Google Form by 4pm on Wednesday 12 June:
