Rugby Year 9-13

Mr MacKenzie is the Teacher in Charge of boys Rugby and Emily Stevens looks after the Kavanagh girls rugby here at Kavanagh. 

Boys Rugby:

Game day:  games are played on Saturdays at various places around the Otago region

Training: 1st XV train on Mondays and Thursdays, other teams are training on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Fees: 1st XV $120.00, $50.00 for all other teams.

Uniform: 1st XV playing top and shorts provided, you need to purchase your own socks from the Bursars office.

Girls Rugby:

Game day: Games are played on Wednesday after school at Logan Park.

 Van goes down from school and back after games.

Training:  TBC but usually Monday at Robin Hood park

Fees: $25.00 for 7's

Competition begins: Term 2  is when  Rugby 7's start and goes for 8 weeks. 

Term 3 is 10 and 15-a side (will depend on numbers)

Uniform:  Playing uniform is provided but you need to purchase your own socks from the Bursar's office for $18.00.
