Envirogroup Success!

The best sort of gardening is that which requires little effort.
So when we realised that potatoes had grown without us even planting any, that was ideal! It was like a treasure hunt digging up the pink and white balls and we filled a whole bucket. We planted some that weren't edible so we can have another treasure hunt next year! The icing on the cake was also finding a $5 note which proves it really does pay to garden.
The group plan to meet and make potato salad for lunch at the end of the term.
If you'd like to join the envirogroup, all ages are welcome, so get in touch with Mrs Roberts-Blyth or Mrs O'Callagan. We meet at lunchtime on Thursdays in D2.2.
Also keep your eye out for a brand new option subject for year 7-9s in 2024 'Let's Grow Together' which teaches about sustainability with a focus on food production and gardening.
