Faith Fact for today

St Dominic feast day is this week. Five primary schools and two colleges in our diocese carry the Dominican Charism. The Dominican motto is Veritas, meaning Truth or Pono. The mission is to Praise Whakapaingia, to Bless Whakanuia, to Preach Whakapaoho. It is their feast day or celebration day on Saturday but many may choose another day close to celebrate. Trinity welcomes St Joseph's Cathedral, Sacred Heart and St Mary's Dunedin primary schools, and some of our Dunedin Dominican Sisters, to share this morning with our Dominic House members, to celebrate Dominican Day.
