Library Competition

It's National Poetry Week in the Library
For the next two weeks, we are running a blackout poetry competition in the library. Blackout poems are created using old or photocopied pages of text. Using a dark marker you erase or 'blackout' the words or phrases you don't want. What's left behind creates your poem. It's amazing what poetic masterpieces are hiding in plain sight. There are no right or wrong poems, anything goes. Come into the library and create one and you may win a prize! There will be prizes allocated for each age group.
