Taieri Interchange

With the sun shining brightly on Wednesday 14th August, a large group of Trinity College Year 7 and 8 students headed off to Taieri College to participate in the annual sports exchange.
Yesterday 120 Year 7 & 8 Trinity College students took part in the annual Taieri College Interchange. The day dawned bright and we were greeted by a fantastic welcome from Taieri College. Matua Tilli responded beautifully in conjunction with some amazing singing from our group. We then laid down the challenge with a terrific haka and the stage was set.
The competition throughout the event was outstanding. Our football and basketball teams were dominant, the rugby team showed slick skills, netballers were involved in very close, physical matches and our hockey team had an extremely tight tussle.
The teamwork, skill and support on display was terrific with the overall interchange victory being the cherry on top. All Trinity students conducted themselves very well and can be proud of their contributions. It was evident that our four core values were in play. Thank you to all the parents who came along to offer support on the day.
Well done everyone.
