Year 12 Ski Trip to Cardrona

A super time on the slopes for Year 12 students!
On the 16th of August, the year 12s went away on a ski trip to Cardrona for the weekend. It was a great bonding experience for those who were fortunate enough to go, and everybody had a great time.
On the first night, we stopped in Alexandra to have dinner on our way to Lake Hawea. On the first day of skiing, it was super sunny and lovely on the mountain. Everyone made it up the chairlift and was able to ski down McDougalls. On the second day, the weather was a bit more unforgiving with a whiteout. Barely able to see 10 meters in front of us, we had a blast running into people and flicking snow at each other (aka Michael). We ended the day with dinner in Wanaka. Laura Cooney, Richard McNaught and David Sole accompanied us on our trip and we are extremely grateful for all they did for us. The year 11’s and 13’s are still to go on their trip and we wish them luck.
