Latin for "Praised Be," Laudato Si' is the name of Pope Francis' encyclical on caring for our common home — planet earth. The Pope's letter is addressed to "every person living on this planet" and calls for global discussion around how we are shaping the future of our planet through our daily actions and decisions.
Laudato Si’ Reflection - Remain in my love
Jesus said to his disciples: As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” [Jn 15:9].
If we no longer speak the language of fraternity and beauty in our relationship with the world, our attitude will be that of masters, consumers, ruthless exploiters, unable to set limits on their immediate needs. By contrast, if we feel intimately united with all that exists, then sobriety and care will well up spontaneously.’ [LS 11]
