Hockey report

With no girls hockey due to Queens Birthday holiday, it was up to the boys to score a win for Kavanagh. Playing Logan Park 1sts with a full complement of players we were confident of getting a tick in the win column. Conceding an early goal, the resolve to win was obvious as we scored a couple of neat goals by Sam Sherriff and Nick Parata.  Sam Beckwith and Sam Sherriff tackled LPHS into submission, combined with Taryn Doyle who seemed to be at both ends at once. Momentum was firmly with the lads. Two second half goals, one each to Nick Parata and Graysen Thomson, saw a comfortable 4-1 final score.
