12th at Nationals for the first ever Trinity Squash team

Squash team for Trinity Catholic College shows great promise
Congratulations to the Trinity Catholic College Squash team who placed 12th in the country at the recent Secondary Schools National Championships. An absolutely phenomenal result given we only had 4 players and had to default the 5th game every time.
Every team player had at least one win over the tournament which saw us play teams from Palmerston North Girls High, Lytton High School, Gisborne Girls High, Sacred Heart New Plymouth and Ruapehu College. The girls are already planning next year!
On top of this, Aria Bannister was selected into the senior girls NZSS team which plays Queensland, NSW and a test series against Australia in two weeks time back in Hutt City.
The team consisted of: Aria Bannister, Harper Bannister, Mackenzie Thompson and Emily Hickey. Well done girls fantastic effort .
