Catholic Quad Sports Tournament 2025

On Tuesday 8th April we hosted the Senior Catholic Quad tournament in Dunedin, an annual sports competition against Verdon College (Invercargill), St Peter's College (Gore) and St Kevin's College (Oamaru). Sports competed in were Football, Hockey, Netball and Basketball.

Trinity competed well throughout the day considering we have only just put our teams together. The Senior A Boys and Girls basketball teams were the highest placed teams both coming second in their respective competitions. Football finished third and Netball and Hockey finished 4th.

My sincere thanks to Samantha and Scott White for running the hockey, to Iris Bugarski and David Sole who battled the weather down at Logan Park to run the football, and to Rachel Mortimer and Jill Larrivee who managed and coached the netball. Thanks also to Kalas Taukamo and Piata Rapata-Hanning for coaching the basketball teams. To Father Hook for the opening prayer and blessing, thank you.

Massive shout out to the referees and support staff who again helped to make the day happen. We look forward to hosting all the schools again next year.
