First XI cricket go down narrowly to St Kevin's

On Thursday 28th March , the Trinity Catholic College First XI cricket team traveled north to take on St Kevin's in their final match of the season.
Trinity won the toss and elected to field first and bowled St Kevin's out for 163. Jimmy MacKenzie the chief destroyer with 5-30 off 7 overs, Joe Peters was also in the wickets with 3-14 off 5.3 overs . In reply, we never really got going, losing wickets at regular intervals. Joe Peters with 19 and Jimmy MacKenzie with 31 were the top scorers, Emily Hickey also played well for her 17 and Sam Peters was 8 not out at the end . We were all out for 139. St Kevins winning by 24 runs. Thanks to Michael Jago and Susan Haig for their support on the day.
