It may still be summer, but we are beginning to think about netball.

The first netball trial for the Senior A and B squad is less than three weeks away.
Last November, we held our community consultation meeting which had been postponed since August. We are very appreciative of Lauren Jarvie's work in leading us through the process of identifying our strengths and thinking about our vision for the future of Kavanagh netball. Lauren summarised the thoughts and ideas and we shared these with the netball community for feedback. Attached is the final summary. We are very excited about continuing our journey towards great netball in the college.
All netball players and their caregiver will be asked to read and sign a code of conduct before the season begins so that all expectations are understood. An example of the Senior A/B document is attached to illustrate our future direction.
Year 9-13 players will be sent a google form to fill out if they want to be involved in trials during this term. The senior A and B trials start on 28 February due to the Year 13 retreat occurring in early March and the senior A team beginning their competition at the beginning of April. The newly developed selection procedure is also attached.
Michael Mackenzie is our netball coordinator and Rachel Mortimer is the teacher in charge of netball. Please feel free to get in contact if you would like to offer your skills to our college this year as a coach/manager/umpire.
